Do you know a girl or boy who would like to attend an environmental camp for one week next summer? The BKAA is sponsoring two campers for one week at the DEC's Camp DeBruce in Livingston Manor during the summer of 2008. The BKAA will pay $200 of the total camp fee for each camper who is selected. The only requirements are that the campers must be between 12 & 14 years old and have an interest in the out-of-doors. To Apply: Please send us a letter of application including why you are interested in the environment. Tell us about any environmental projects you've been involved in,(this not a requirement), your name and the name of your parent(s) or guardian(s), your date of birth, your address, your phone number, the grade and school you attend. It's New! It's Delicious! It's a Crepes Fundraiser for the BKAA! Members Natalie Fuz & Kelly McGowan will be serving their homemade crepes at a party , Sunday, Feb 17th 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at 888 South Rd. in Wurtsboro. BYOB - we'll provide the tea & coffee. Suggested donation adults $15, children $5. Special offer - at the party, we will raffle an original drawing of the Basha Kill by artisit Lilith Jones designed for the cover of the new Basha Kill Guide. Raffle tickets $10 each can only be purchased at this great fundraising event. Come and break out of your winter doldrums - enjoy great food, good company and the chance to win an original Lilith Jones drawing of the Basha Kill. All proceeds go to the BKAA!
