Chase School chorus sings for the Mamakating seniors!

History
The Mamakating Senior Citizen Club was established on July 25, 1973. In the beginning meetings were held in the American Legion Hall and then in the basement of the Wurtsboro Methodist Church. By September 1975 the meetings were held at the Town Park in Bloomingburg and the Nutrition Program was added. On September 23, 1987 the meetings moved to the new home on Rt. 209. We still meet there today, sharing the building with the Town of Mamakating.
Supervisor Dennis Greenwald and James Galligan from the Office for the Aging helped organize the group. Over the years the Town Supervisor and the Sullivan County Office for the Aging have continued to support our programs.
Meetings are held on the Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month starting at 1:OOpm
