MAMAKATING FARMERS MARKET OPENS

 

Mamakating Local Development Corp. will again sponsor the Mamakating Farmers Market.  The Market is held on the spacious lawn of the Mamakating Town Hall at 2948 Route 209.  This location specifically facilitates proper social distancing.   The Market will open on June 5, 2020 and continue each Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM until September.

The market will be following the state guidelines for farmers markets which require masks and social distancing. Please bring your mask and follow instructions of the market volunteers.

Winterton Farm, Aaron Burr Cidery, Majestic Farm, Kirby Farm and Hemlock Grove Gardens, Gary’s Pickles, Woodside Blue Preserves, Happy Herbs Soaps, Lilly Bear Treats, Golben Farms and Everything Animals will provide produce, honey, maple syrup, cider, meats, chicken and duck eggs, pickles, preserves, lavender products and much more.  Pre-ordering from most of the vendors above is also possible on their respective websites.

 You can look forward to fresh produce, organic foods, delicious and handmade food items, and the return of your favorite vendors and some new ones!

The safety and health of our vendors, volunteers, and community is our top priority. In order to ensure a safe and seamless shopping experience, the Mamakating Farmer’s Market Committee and the MLDC has implemented new guidelines. We have tried to adhere to the NYS AG & Markets and the Farmer’s Market Federation of NY operating guidelines. Please kindly review the guidelines before attending the Market.
